Koh Bida Nok and Nai

Koh Bida Nok and Nai

The two Bida islands Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai lie close to each other near the uninhabited Koh Phi Phi Lez Island. They are among the most popular dive sites in the area and are approached not only from Koh Lanta, but also from Phuket, Krabi and the dive centers of Koh Phi Phi equally.

Koh Bida Nok has a small hard coral reef roof at the southern end, reminiscent of an underwater lagoon and shallow from 6m to about 20m. On the southwest side are wonderfully colorful rocks covered with a kind of archway, which can be immersed.

Breathtaking coral rock formations with many blocks offshore can be admired on the west side of Koh Bida Nok. They are densely covered with colorful soft corals and harbor a large biodiversity of lesser animals. Nevertheless, this dive site with its bizarre underwater landscape is ideally suited for wide-angle shots, as many shoals of fish complement the scenery impressively.

For cave divers, Koh Bida Nok on the north side at 20 m depth holds a special highlight. There is the entrance to a small cave system, for the immersion but a special training and appropriate equipment are required.
